How it works
How it works
Six steps from 'something's gone wrong' to funding — with the free help checked along the way.
- 1
1. Tell us what happened (about 60 seconds)
The event, how much you need, what it's for, your state and whether you own property. No credit check when you first enquire.
- 2
2. A real person calls you
Someone who has read your enquiry rings to understand the full picture — insurance, grants, deadlines and how long the disruption will last.
- 3
3. We check the free help with you
If a grant, concessional loan, ATO deferral or hardship arrangement could cover more of the gap, we'll tell you — and point you to the official source.
- 4
4. Options sized to the gap
Property-secured ($20,000 to $5,000,000) or unsecured (typically $5,000 to $500,000), with a term that matches a clear exit such as a payout, a grant or returning trade.
- 5
5. Documents and approval
Only once you decide to go ahead. We tell you exactly what's needed — usually bank statements, ID, ABN or ACN, and property details if you're using security.
- 6
6. Funding
Funds are paid to your account or directly to whoever needs paying. Where speed matters, $20k to $250k is possible same day on property-secured funding.
Before you enquire
If the crisis is still unfolding, start with safety and the first-day jobs in our emergency action checklist. If you want a rough idea of how big the gap is, the shutdown cash runway calculator takes a minute.
What makes the first call useful
Accurate answers on the form. The amount you need, what it's for, your state and any property you own tell us which options are realistic before we even pick up the phone. If you're waiting on an insurance claim or a grant, mention it — it often shapes the whole structure.
Common questions
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. We only discuss a credit check once you've decided to go ahead.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. Your enquiry isn't sold, auctioned or broadcast. One team works on it and a real person calls you.
How quickly will someone call?
A real person reviews every enquiry and calls you, usually within business hours. Keep your phone handy — the call may come from a number you don't recognise.
What documents will I need?
At the enquiry stage, none. If you go ahead, typically recent business bank statements, ID, your ABN or ACN, and property details for secured funding. Insurance claim numbers and grant approvals help if you have them.
Do you publish interest rates?
No. Every facility is priced on the business's own circumstances. We'll explain the total cost clearly before you commit to anything.
